Great central Hotel. Lovely helpful staff and great Breakfast selection (even has a pancake making machine, yum yum!). Can't wait for another visit.

Great location hotel staff very nice breakfast good. Found rooms were too warm and couldn't sleep asked at reception for them to turn off heating all together but never happened also was put in a room where the AC fans were so at 5 o clock the noise from fan system kept us all awake.Would return again if put in a different room and they sorted the heating system.

A very nice hotel. Room was of an excellent standard and the staff were very helpful. I would stay here again next time I'm in Kilkenny.

loved this hotel , everything was just perfect.. all staff were extremely friendly and attentive ,food was excellent from breakfast to dinner ,rooms were spotless ,as was the pool and changing area .. special mention to the bar man on duty who was so kind to my son getting him his ice cream that he wanted .. nothing was to much trouble,, would highly recommend this hotel to any one thinking of staying in Kilkenny..

Really enjoyed our stay in the Ormonde Hotel, lovely hotel. Hotel staff are very friendly & helpful, lovely atmosphere, very clean. The only negative was the pool, we have 2 small kids but they had no swim rings or toys for the pool.

Very friendly hotel. Really nice food in restaurant . Kids had great fun in Club..they loved the bouncey castle. Rooms are nice but on the small size however we didnt mind. Hotel bar lacks atmosphere. I expected some entertainment for mid term. Pool lovely. All in all a pleasent stay right in the centre on the town and castle.

Nice modern comfortable hotel. Bedroom nice and clean. Only fault I could find was the pillows were very hard not comfortable at all. Breakfast lovely with a wide selection of foods to choose from. Only fault here was they serve the tea to early so that it is lukewarm by the time you go to eat your fry. All in all a lovely hotel.

absoutely beautiful hotel really enjoyed my stay i would give this hotel a 5 star rating in all areas staff very friendly food fabalous and the hotel itsself would definetly recommend it in the heart of kilkenny close to shops pubs restaurants verything really would revisit

Stayed for one night recently.The girl at reception was very helpful with information about places to eat and drink and the hotel amenities, even though she was really busy with phone calls etc. and I think that she was training another girl as well. The rooms were very comfortable,and spotless. the food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly,very helpful, and very efficient.I can't say enough good things about this hotel and it's great staff. I'm going to stay there again soon.

My partner and 2 kids stayed in the ormonde hotel it was clean and the staff were very friendly ,rooms where lovely too and they had a kids club too which the kids enjoyed Id stay there again

As a young couple (early 20's) we really enjoyed our two night mid-week stay. The central location was perfect and so easy to find when driving through the city. We really enjoyed the leisure centre facilities and the spa really was the icing on the cake!
Would be very inclined to return to both Kilkenny and the Kilkenny Ormonde Hotel.

We had a lovely stay before the children went back to school. we stayed for one night with the intention of visiting Kilkenny castle which is stunning and the hotel is literally 2-3 mins away from.
When we arrived we upgraded to a larger room which was well worth the extra cost as we had our 3 children with us.
The leisure center is also very nice.
Would use this hotel again.

We had a really nice time, bar food was lovely. We used the pool, it was great. Breakfast was really good and resturant sfaff were so nice , friendly and helpful.
We would stay again..
