The hotel is still as good as ever, even better with there new bar menu which is a much better. We have been going there since 2004 and hope to do for many years as its so good. The staff are very helpful and friendly especially in the leisure center and reception They are updating in the hotel all the time and wish them every sucess for the future.

We enjoyed our stay at the Clonakilty Park Hotel. The hotel is very comfortable. The staff are extremely friendly and pleasant and very professional in their interactions with guests. Definitely would stay here again. We had a very nice meal in the restaurant and it was good value.

I recently stayed at the Clonakilty Park Hotel booked through Irish Mini Breaks, and I had a fantastic experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming and attentive. The hotel itself was clean, modern, and had a lovely ambiance.

Booked in for dinner table for 2 and was not seated in restraunt it seemed no one was there we was seated in the bar which was so noisy with full of kids tvs were on place was not a relaxing place to have a nice quiet dinner so literally ate and left was not a relaxing place so didn't even order wine.. staff on first morning were very attentive and prompt the 1st morning the 2nd morning you were lucky to see staff not attentive at all.. no complaints about accommodation that was very nice.. dining experience for dinner was awfull
I brought my 3.5 year old niece away for the night and was recommended this hotel and Irish mini breaks by a friend. The hotel was perfect for her with everything we needed within the hotel. Great kids menu and plenty activities. The only issue was how hot the bedroom was but otherwise it was perfect

I have stayed here on numerous occassions and have always been satisfied with the establishment. The staff were very friendly and helpful and the food was very good in the restaurant.
Handy location, very pleasant staff, easy check-in and easy check-out even though we had to curtail our stay for family reasons. Though our stay was very reasonably priced, we found food and drink prices within the hotel a bit high, thogh this was a small price to pay. Overall, a good experience, and would go back again.

This Hotel is a lovely place to stay. Our room was spotless and very quiet. The bed was .very comfortable. Breakfast was lovely with plenty of variety. We will definitely stay here again when we go back to Clonakilty 2
Really, really nice place. Very friendly and welcoming; clean, bright & comfortable room and ensuite; excellent breakfast and only a short walk into town centre... Many thanks!! :-) One other point: Many hotels now seem to be downgrading the bar area and cutting back on seating areas for "Just chilling for a bit..." This hotel isn't one of those - the bar area is cosy and welcoming, there isn't somebody waving menus at you before you've even had a chance to catch your breath..! There are plenty of cosy seating areas where one could relax with a book and a drink or where kids could maybe play a board-game... Ironically, one would be encouraged to stay here and spend, unlike many of the other places where one increasingly feels "on the clock" and compelled to do so...
Best family hotel we have been in. So much to do for familys. Staff were so nice and helpful. swimming pool was decent size. teen room was brillant and kept our 12 year old occupied. the ball pit area was enjoyed by our 1 year old. breakfast was delicious and lots of choice. family room was really big and had everything we needed. really enjoyed our few days away.

Beautiful stay at this hotel. Was lovely decorations up for christmas.the kids loved the play area. We had dinner in the restaurant.good value for money. A lovely quite night as my daughter has asd so it was lovely not to busy. Big thank you to Patricia ,she was absolutely fantastic with Zoe and the rest of the kids. Will definitely return. Losing one start as we found a item of clothing in the bed that wasn't belonging to us. Otherwise will return.
Stayed here for 1night with family. Had a jam packed fun break away, loads to do with kids indoors, especially as rain was bucketing down the same day. Had dinner in hotel in the evening and usually hotel restaurants can be hit or miss and overpriced but not this here the food was delicious and bottle of wine reasonably priced. Will definitely be returning for a family breakaway.

We had a wonderful stay at Clonakilty Park hotel. The room was spacious and spotless and the staff were very pleasant and helped us out when we decided to extend our stay by keeping us in the same room. The soft play and leisure centre were a big hit with our 3 year old and Micheal was lovely. Breakfast was 10/10, great start to the day as the breakfast room had a lovey calm atmosphere. We can’t wait to come back.

From the very moment I arrived I found all the staff to very friendly and helpful right through from receptionists to restaurant staff and managers, also the hotel also provided top class locally sourced food for breakfast lunch and dinner ,also music provided at night . The hotel is only 10 minutes walking distance from the village of Clonakilty and close to a lot of amenities and places of interest , plenty of free parking at the hotel

Perfect hotel for families or anyone wanting to visit beautiful west cork, hotel had great amenities for kids, spotless clean room, the bar/ restaurant lacked any atmosphere or personality but staff were nice enough and in particular Trisha who made our stay by making friends with our two boys and making them feel so special, she is an absolute treasure and a credit to the hotel.

On one evening arrived back at hotel at 8.30 pm and asked could we have dinner in the restaurant to be told no they were finished taking orders which I though was quiet early to finish serving evening dinner

Best Hotel we have stayed in, the staff and food were excellent. The kids absolutely loved it. There is so much to do with the kids ( indoor activities, outside playground with huge wooden ship, swimming pool and cinema. We have booked again for 1st of November and hope to stay at least once a month. Highly recommend

Really great hotel for a family stay, location was great and the public areas of the hotel have been updated since our last visit, looks really smart, the playground is awesome! A couple of things just the rooms are very dated but that's minor - and with the covid restrictions getting to the swimming pool for residents could be better organised, again minor but would have made it 5 stars :)

We were overall disappointed by the cleanliness or our hotel room. There were old cobwebs on the curtain pelmets that had accumulated dust. Food remains on the carpet from previous the guest and having requested a cot twice we never received it for our 6month old. This was brought to the attention of our receptionist who offered an apology and said it shouldn’t have happened. The communal areas however were very modern, sanitised and well kept.

Bedroom and bed very comfortable, but switch on one bedside lamp not working. Central heating rather meagre for a November night, albeit not a specially cold one. In en-suite bathroom - already repaired shower/bath water 'switch' was broken. Wi-fi good. Staff all very courteous and helpful. As to Dinner - seafood chowder was good, but rest was dull and heavy. Food for Breakfast was good average but coffee was cold and some distance from fresh.

The Hotel is well appointed and well run the staff are friendly and very professional. Great for the gym and swimming facilities also. Very family orientated. The location is easy to find and is an ideal base for exploring the South West area, less than an hours drive from Cork Airport. The only complaint goes to Today FM breaks through which we booked. They took €2.95 over and above the booking fee for processing a credit card, even though I actually paid with a debit card they still took €2.95 for the privilege. I complained to Today FM breaks about it but so far they have declined to be drawn on the issue. One wonders how much that comes to given how many Hotel breaks they process in total? Ryan Air used the same practice and was stopped from doing so I fail to see why apparently the same rules do not apply to Today FM Breaks.
The staff were very friendly, the food excellent, the bedroom was very clean and spacious. I certainly would go back to this hotel again and would recommend it.

Stayed for two nights as we were attending a wedding near by. The hotel is a little dated, but was fine for the purpose we required. Room had a fridge which is great. On entering the room, we only had one cup even though we had booked a double, but I got this rectified by going to reception. I do think, this should have been checked when prepping the room. Breakfast was good, didn't eat in the bar as we were not there long enough. Bar is dark enough, not very inviting. I settled the bill the afternoon before we had to depart, as we needed to be out of the hotel early and didnt want any delays, only to get back from the Wedding we were attending to find both of our cards were no longer working. This again got rectified when I went and called the night porter, but was disappointed as we wanted to just get straight to bed before our long journey the next morning.

This hotel is ideal for a family stay. The pool is great as is the playground if the weather is dry. We made use of the cinema as we arrived on a very wet day. The buffet style meals for kids was great for us as my children hate waiting for their meals and the buffet had a good choice including mash potatoes and veg so not just chips and sausage. Although the evening entertainment may not appeal to everyone again I felt it was great for the kids and they were singing and dancing away so we could sit back and enjoy them and have a drink! Overall an ideal family hotel.
staff very friendly , food and entertainment was great leisure facilities good apart from steam room not in use no sign up to say so, ROOM very clean but it lacked a lot the iron was so old it was,nt steam . bed was small double , room was next to what sounded like an engine room so was difficult to sleep i have stayed before and always had a lovely room felt because it was lidl break and paid a low price i got an inferior room will think twice about using lidl or any other breaks comfort is important

Very comfortable clean room with plenty of amenities on site such as leisure centre and cinema. The €77 was excellent value for money considering the breakfast was so substantial as it was buffet style self service. Ate our evening meal in Oscars bar which was good pub grub value. I would recommend this hotel to families, young at heart couples and small groups.
We are a returning family who use the quality everytime down in Clon to visit family. I can't praise the staff enough from check in to pool jungle gym all the way to restaurant and bar staff all superb. The hotel itself is very child friendly with camps at term time .We had a family room for our smallies 5 and 2 request 2 singles as we had the 2 doubles an oversight that i wont make again (took them forever to get to sleep) the halls can be bit noisy at bedtime though with all the activitites kids gen went off .The weekend we went was a disaster weather wise and thanks to the jungle gym and pool it flew by not to mention the cinema next door. While we didnt avail of the page of discounts we recieved def on cards for next time (weather permitting) the hotel even sorted sitter out for us and she was the best Margeret u rok and rebeka and daniel both think so lol. All in all the music at the bar was entertaining and with kids allowed to run about we could relax.Admittedly if I didnt have kids hotel may be annoying as there was loads. As we do have them was nice not to keep telling to shhh every 2 mins.Breakfast was plentiful with very help ful staff re warming up pancakes and the like juices all available and the usual hot selections (clonakilty pudding is a must ) to sum up we really enjoyed our time at the quality and will def return very very soon all the best from Sean and Bilyana Daniel and Rebeka
We really enjoyed our weekend break at the Quality recently. The room was comfortable and warm, and extra pillows were provided almost immediately after asking for them. Breakfast was excellent, buffet style and catering to all tastes. While geared towards families, there was no noise in the corridors during the night, which is a big plus for me. Having the use of the leisure facilities makes this a very good value package, especially with dinner included.

I cannot recommend this hotel enough if you have kids. They cannot do enough for you and your kids. With a supervised play gym means you can have your dinner in peace while the kids play . It might not be classy enough for a romantic weekend. The food is good enough, ideal menu for kids. Usually has music in bar.

Really enjoyed our 3 Night stay here recently, ideal hotel for kids, staff very pleasant and helpful! Only issue i had was with the dinner included the staff didn't seem to know how to use it, we wanted to pay the difference in cash but they were unsure what to do and the deal was for 2 courses, the restaurant and the bar taught it was to the value of 25e but it was to the value of 20e it all got a bit confusing! Hotel rooms were clean and comfortable. Food was lovely. Kids loved it. I'd definitely recommend it and i will be returning!
We have a lovely few days in clonakilty , we arrrived early and the staff was most accomodating , and we were able to check in early. I was dissappointed that the voucher for our meal was for a two course why bother giving out the voucher for a two course , when other offers we notice you could have a package for a meal for €25.00 euros. The hotel really caters for families, its a kids paradise. I dont think I would go back as I felt it wasn't for couples. Even in the night time we couldnt even go into the bar for a drink as there was a DJ / Disco for the kids , which meant we couldnt have a drink at the bar. They could of have someone playing the piano in the lobby for the rest of us poor people. Let's says great for families , but I have reared my kids and I was hoping for quiet few days. Stay away, if you want abit of peace and quietness.

My husband and i stayed for 2 nights. If your looking for cheap and basic you found it. Room was fine and pool nice. Staff friendly.Restaurant service boarding on appalling and food quality poor to average. Woundnt go back. But seems a fun place if you have kids. Lots of activities for them to do.

My wife and I were very satisfied with our stay in the Quality hotel. Felt it was very good very good . The hotel was clean,comfortable and warm. The bedroom was quite spacious, with a double and a single bed and a good bathroom and shower facility. The receptionists and dining room staff were very friendly and helpful. Perfect weekend with out 2 small kids, clean comfortable, warm, friendly with good food and service, nice pool and play gym, cinema, walks , Train around clonakility and miniture villiage, beach nearby and nice town, we really enjoyed it;) only problem was we didn't stay long enough, you could stay a week in this area with kids happily, it is for families though so don't moan if your trying to find romance ;)

Would highly reccomend the quality in Clonakilty for anyone with children as it has great facilities. We booked out a day early due to one of our children been sick and they only charged us for one night. For that alone i would definetly go back.
Nice hotel in a great location. We were attending a wedding in the locality so it was very convenient and good value. The weather was absolutely beautiful so that was also a bonus. The staff were great and very helpful as we had a problem with shower but it was sorted almost straight away. Breakfast was excellent. I dropped the one star as there were a lot of children in the bar area on the friday night eventhough it was quiet late otherwise I would have no problem staying there again.

Stayed 2 nights & had B&B with 1 dinner included. We had one infant (18mths) with us and the place is well geared for families. It was packed considering it was off peak after the school holidays. Place had a great vibe. Facilities cater for all but have plenty to keep the small ones happy with an outdoor secured playarea, pool, indoor soft play area and an internet room for older kids. We didnt use the indoor soft play area but had a look in the window and it appeared well equipped. The outdoor area had some slides and timber play houses which could probably do with a lick of paint at this stage but our little one didnt notice! We had breakfast and dinner and couldnt fault the food. We had a double and single bed in the room however we had also requested a travel cot and this was all set up for us on arrival. Travel cot was dressed with a mattress so out small one slept no bother. Even though it was busy we hadnt much problems with noise. There was a hen party and rugby team staying and as our room faced onto the carpark by the smoking area it was a but noisy but nothing too bad that we had to complain and they soon moved on again. The bar and dining areas are very child friendly, there were plenty of kids running about late in the evening but they didnt make any noise in the corridors so there is no problem that way. The hotel is located just outside the town and near the minature railway village and Inchidoney beach. I would no problems staying here again and would recommend it to anyone travelling with family or not.
We had a lovely time in Clonakilty. First of all the weather was on our side. We had a complaint with our room but it was sorted very quickly. The food in the Restuarant was lovely. Breakfast was really busy but it was well managed. I would say the hotel is aimed at families only, not really for your romantic getaway!!! We will definately return with the Kids as we had a good look at the facilites and our kids would love it. The Staff were great all really nice and helpful. Thanks for a great weekend. We has a great time.
brilliant hotel we always stay there when we visit clon its like our home away from home love the buffet breakfasts and staff are brilliant nothing is too much trouble for them i would have only one tiny crib and that is the amount of small kids in the residents bar very late but i guess its a family hotel spoke to a few people there and they did say that was their only complaint as well even up to 10 0 clock would be all right but they were there much later

Had a lovely weekend. Rooms perfect. Had fridge which was very useful with two small kids. Restaurant was excellent both food and service. Staff overall very very friendly. Kids had a ball in the supervised jungle gym play area and it was fantastic to eat our dinner in peace. Leisure centre was nice with kiddies pool and nice big swimming pool. Jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. Spent a couple days in Trabolgan recently and our two kids preferred the Quality. Really geared for families. The music in bar was very good and again the musicians interacted with the kids very well. Will go back again. I forgot to mention it was excellent value for money as well.
Great hotel for a few nights away, lots to do for the kids, they were well happy. We look forward to staying again.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel.....we have two children age 6 and 2 and felt it was the perfect place to stay....everything was laid on perfectly, so much so that we have convince another family to book a break there. I would give this hotel 5 stars out of 5. However, I would like to add that it may not be suitable to couples or singles who do not have children but if you're a family its perfect.....we'l be back and can't wait:)
thoroughly enjoyed our stay as always. the kids just loved the pool playground and play centre and we got to have a lovely relaxing dinner while the lovely staff in the chreche took care of the kids. would highly reccomend five stars!!! only negative was the lesiure centre staff quite arrogant and unfriendly such a contrast from the rest of the hotel staff who were so friendly and couldnt do enough for you.
We had a fantastic stay at the Quality Hotel in Clonakilty as a family of Two adults and 3 children aged 3, 6 and 8 everyone was catered for and the facilities for kids are second to none, The family room was a great size and food delicious. will be back again.
We stayed here for 1 night during the June Bank Holiday weekend. The hotel itself is lovely, the staff are very pleasant and helpful. It was a very child-friendly hotel, with lots of kids running around the place happily. Room was very nice, tea and coffee facilities, and there was also a DVD player in the room which was a nice touch. Breakfast was also very nice, wide selection of foods. Overall enjoyable, would likely visit again.
Yes we really enjoyed our 3 day stay ing your fine hotel. the staff were excellent the meals were brillant and the sauna and pool were excellent. Both my wife and i would highly recomend the quilty hotel

I stayed here for 2 nights in April. To say that it was value for money would be an understatement. The hotel was in excellent condition, room, beautiful, staff professional and friendly. I will definitely be back again with my 4 year old son, as the hotel really caters well for families. The only 'complaint' I would have is the price of the bottes of Corona. €1 dearer than anywhere else in the town. Not bad that that's the only complaint though!
I went to Clonakilty on Friday 4th May with my daughter and son and family for my nieces Communion at Rathbarry a beautiful spot ,we had a very pleasant stay in the Quality Hotel the pool and pool area was well kept and the staff were very helpful at all times, i have stayed at the quality on several occsions and never disappointed the staff in the restaurant were helpful and very good with the children also it is a very family friendly Hotel the staff at reception are also could not be more helpful to us i will be visiting again soon ,i was born and reared not far from Clonakilty it is a very special place and always will be left it at 18 but love the area Dunworley bech is worth a visit and of course Courtmacsherry and Timoleague very scenic area .
Fab hotel love it have stayed there several time and could not fault it. Friendly staff kids loved it pool great all round lovely time love Clon also so ten out of ten from me.
On arrival at the hotel the receptionist was very helpful and welcoming, informing us that dinner was included but the Restaurant was closed so dinner would be served in Oscar's Bar. The bedroom was lovely, very clean and comfortable but the connecting door to the next room was open. We contacted reception to request the the doors be locked and they were a bit surprised when informed that the doors were open!!! We also requested De-cafe Coffee which was not supplied in our room, we were given a jar of De-cafe coffee as they did not have any sachets which we appreciated. Food in Oscar's Bar was excellent, staff were very attentive and friendly, we enjoyed our night. Breakfast was very disappointing, it would appear that the Chef who cooked the lovely dinner the night before did not cook breakfast. We were informed at check-in that breakfast would be served between 7.30am and 11am, we arrived for breakfast around 10am and were greeted by a very friendly member of staff who informed us that breakfast was self-service there was a choice of tinned and fresh fruit, juices, yogurts, cereals and breads, to my surprise they even had blackberry jam (the usual choice is Strawberry Jam and Orange Marmalade). The food in the hot counter looked as if it was there from 7.30am that morning and it was cold. As I approached the counter the chef put freshly cooked sausages in on top of cold sausages that had been in the server, eggs looked okay, tomatoes looked dreadful and the bacon was sitting in oil/grease not very appetising, when the chef appeared again with freshly cooked hash browns I asked if she could cook some fresh bacon to which she looked at me and said Na. I would recommend the hotel for bed and dinner but forget breakfast if you are looking for a hot full Irish.
My family and i enjoyed a weekend break in the quality hotel which has great facilities for families. My two boys enjoyed a trip to the cinema which is onsite. There is a good swimming pool and jacuzzi and also a games room equipped with wii and xbox games and consoles. We also enjoyed a lovely meal in the restaurant which has a very good buffet for the younger children. All in all an enjoyable break but not the hotel to go for if you want a quiet romantic stay without children.

Very pleasantly surprised that we really enjoyed our stay in Clonakilty. Wasn't expecting much but the hotel was lovely, bedrooms very clean & spacious, able to accommodate 5 of us fine in a family room. Swimming pool large & great fun for kids, showering area's very clean with lockers, etc. The play areas for kids was really good & my three kids loved it. The disco in the bar for the kids & adults on Friday night was great fun & we all enjoyed dancing away...in all a very enjoyable stay & we'll be back.
The hotel itself can use a bit of an upgrade...However, I had three small children with me and the facilities for kids are second to none. The breakfast every morning was lovely with plenty of variety. The staff were extremely helpful and I would totally recommend this hotel for families.

The best value for money break I've had. A clean room, a swim in the morning followed by a delicious breakfast. A wonderful town, the restaurants are 30% cheaper than Dublin. The only drawback is the 3.5 hour drive from Dublin. Highly recommend
Nice hotel, great for families with kids, food better than expected, friendly staff, would stay here again however would avoid school holidays, we stayed during an off peak time so it was just nice but I imagine it would be very busy with kids at holiday times due to the great facilities available for kids. Only fault interconnecting door to adjacent room not adequately sound proofed.

yes I we stayed in the Quality for a midweek break, we found it very relaxing and west cork is lovely. the hotel is very clean, but we had an evening meal and for the price it leaves a lot to desire. In contrast we eat out in Clonakilty town two nights and we were delighted with out meal.
Top Marks.Our weather was awful,but there was plenty of things indoors to keep the kids happy,leisure centre, indoor play area & the cinema. Breakfast was excellent,great choices.Food in the bar/restaurant was also very good.We will return.Highly Recommended.

I found the staff at Quality hotel very pleasant, mannerly and helpful. We had a great time and would have stayed longer if we could. The food was excellent. The breakfast buffet was very very good. I love the kids dinner buffet idea. The ameneties were very clean and well maintained. The pool was great fun and well guarded. The cinema was a great addition as we had one day with particularly bad weather and we didn't have to go far to catch a fun movie. The rooms were lovely and clean and quiet. However, ,, WE ALL WOKE UP BECAUSE OF FEELING VERY COLD IN THE MIDDLE OF THE NIGHT. That was the only down side to our experience. I highly recommend the hotel and Lidl breaks. Looking forward to our next adventure.

we had a wonderful stay at the quality last weekend it was excellent value for money food fab and staff could not do enough for us,the all seemed to have a great working relationship,smilling and having a little banter,it was so relaxing.our group would love to spend a week the end of June or beginning of July next year if we could get a good Lidl deal,we certainly will be back.

I love this hotel. Especially good for children from the youngest babies to about 12 years old. Pool, indoor and outdoor playgrounds cinema and another playground 200 meters down the road. Clonakilty is a great real town as well and not just an overpriced tourist trap like some others. Food superb for all ages and it is great value for money too.
Hi there, We spent 3 nights at your hotel complex in a 2 bedroom apartment. We arrived on the 25th of Sept. I found the staff very friendly on checking in and they made a fuss of our daughter who is 3. The apartment was ideal, it had everything we needed for our stay. Only faults were; smell of cigarettes and mattress on double bed not very comfortable but we rectified this by putting a duvet and a blanket on top of it. We had breakfast each morning and it was lovely. The staff at the leisure centre and play area were attentive and patient, especially when I couldn't open my locker, twice!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and felt very at home. We will return and I will recommend your hotel to friends. Yours, Aoife Fleming

very good. we had a big room as we had a wheelchair user who needs a hoist. we had to push the beds apart for more room and luckily the third bed was a camp one as we needed to get the hoist in under it. the staff were friendly and the food was very tasty. great location and a major bonus to have the cinema beside it.

This is about my 20th time returning to this hotel over many many years, I am a travel agent and mother of 2 kids aged 3 and 7 who like Mammy and Daddy love this hotel, The Staff are always smilling and nothing is ever too much trouble , The pool area is fab and the kids club is very safe and supervised by lovely young ladies who seem to really enjoy the kids. It's great for parents to have 2 hours in the day for themselves to eat or swim and know the kids are safe and having fun with other kids. The restaurant staff are in a class of their own again any special requests for the kids or yourself is never a problem, they are simply very professional and pleasant. The manager of the restaurant is a pleasure to deal with and he seems to work 24hrs a day.The meals we enjoyed each evening again are a credit to the chef's, Seabass one evenig and Lamb Shank the next night , both to die for. I would rate this hotel a 4* Enjoy!!!! Catherine Byrne

Service from the moment we arrived at reception was excellent. The room was very comfortable and the level of hygiene was superb. We had food in the bar on one accasion and the meal was well presented and the food was delicious, though the staff could have been more personable. We had breakfast both mornings in a VERY busy dining room and the service was very good. I would however highlight that the scrambled egg was finished very quickly and it wasnt refilled for the time that I spent in the dining room. Overall we both really enjoyed our short stay. My husband and I have stayed here many times in the past and no problems, but this time it started off that we had no heating in the room and it was so chillythat I had to take to bed in order to keep warm.( I had phoned reception to ask for the heating to be turned on, eventually 90 mins later it was. Following morning no hot water until 9.30 a.m,Plus gripe 3;a line of sand behind bathroom door on our arrival,Ccleaners soon had that rectified. Perhaps a one off,we will have to wait and see

We always have a fantastic stay time and time again. It is the ideal break for those with kids. Our daughter loved the kids club and the other fscilities on site being the leisure centre and the Jungle Gym. Parents can relax in the bar every evening knowing the kids are welcome to play and enjoy each others company. Food is fantastic too and inchydoney beach is just a short drive for the sunny days. Very friendly and accomadating staff.
We spent a lovely 3 nights in this hotel with our 2.5 yr old son. This hotel isso child friendly and was excellent value for money. Our son loved going swimming in the pool and also spent a few hours in the jungle gym. It gave us a break and he loved spending time with the kids. He also loved the little playground on site where he got to me some more friends. As we had to pay 5 euro each morning for his breakfast, I thought it was a bit too much as 2.5 year olds dont have a huge appetite. Still, the deal we got with idl was excellent so we cant complain too much. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel especially for people with a young family.
The Lidl break was tremendous value for money and the hotel was excellent, the staff were extremely courteous and overall it was a most enjoyable stay.

hi,i stayed with my wife and 2 young children,had a fantastic time and couldn't recommend this hotel enough.The food was devine.The staff are without doubt the friendliest i have ever had the pleasure of dealing with in my life.My children had a great time in the pool and then in the play area both inside and outside the hotel.Rooms really clean also and again just to mention the staff were just brilliant,will be going back to this hotel without question.

This hotel is ideal for my family as we like to be entertained when we are out and about, beautiful beaches only a couple of miles away and Clonakilty a 2 minute walk.The staff were very pleasant and helpful . The rooms very clean and tidy as was the leisure centre. The only downfall was the breakfast it was shit.
We, a family of four enjoyed a fab three night break at the Quality Hotel Clonakilty. The food was excellent and the restaurant staff dealt really well with the special dietry needs of one member of our family.....Well Done! The children's facilities were great, incl the Kids Camp. Full marks all 'round, especially to all the staff of the hote and thanks to Lidi and the hotel we feel we got fantastic value for money!
I stayed here febuary 18 2011 ,i thought the hotel was lovely.the dinner we had in the restaurant was beautiful ,and really enjoyed the leisure centre.I will be back again.
We stayed there for one night last Sat night.5th Feb.....room lovely warm and cosy....excellently clean......fridge which was great to keep water.......had lovely meal that night....food lovely.......great value......didnt have breakfast even though included but got a bowl of cereal later which was great.......lots of children but it is a family hotel and it was sat night.....would definitely stay again for longer.....anne and john

The staff are friendly , extremely efficient and cannot do enough for you. The facilities for children are second to none and fantastic value . We had a very enjoyable weekend break here. The hotel is ideal for children aged from about 3 to 12. The staff are brilliant with children and very nice as a rule. We will be back. One small complaint was that the pool felt a small bit cool for small children
Hi. I had the most wonderful two day break at the Clonakity hotel. The staff were very nice and could not do enough to make our stay more comfortable. The lidl break was exceptional good value as we had our meals included in the package(49euro per night). The food was to a very high standard and a good variety. I had a look around the faclities and the pool was large with a separate kids area,also provided was a kids jungle(which is supervised and is also quite large). The games room had the lastest in xboxes and wii's. I would rate my stay as 4 star. I intend to visit this hotel early next year and hope to avail of another lidl package. Noreen Daly.
We enjoyed a 3 night stay during mid term - the staff are very friendly and helpful. Rooms spacious and clean. A great breakfast and in the evening the food in Lanigans Restauraunt absolutley superb (try the chefs special) . The location is perfect for touring West Cork or just relaxing in the pool (We did both) The hotel is very geared toward families with young children and I would certainly recommend it for a family break. Lidl Breaks are definitley great value and I will be booking again

My husband, son and I spent 3 nights at the Quality, it was a very enjoyable stay, the staff are extremely friendly and professional, the hotel facilities are wonderful and totally geared for children, from the pool to the fully equipped playroom (a child's dream). A great location for visiting the area ie. Kinsale and Inchydoney. We will definitely be returning.
The hotel was great and very family friendly, staff were excellent but it was the smallest family room I've ever been in. But for Euro 140 for a family of four for a weekend, you can't really complain. Overall, fantastic value.

Staff friendly. Hotel clean and fresh. Great for kids with fabulous pool area, younger kids play centre with climbing, diving into balls, etc constantly supervised and at 3 euro an hour good value. Another room for older kids (and dads !) with wii, playstation, pool, etc. Coffee dock for parents. Nice bar and the food in the restaurant was very good. We even got %u20AC5 voucher towards the wine. The whole experience very pleasing and we will be regular visitors from now on
5 of us stayed for 1 night in the Quality hotel and could not fault it. We all had spa treatments in the afternoon which were fantastic and great value.although the treatment rooms were not the dimly lit warm feel room you would expect. The bedrooms were big and clean and we found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. Thanks to Lidl for their great value that enabled us all to take this break.
Spent 4 nights in Quality Hotel last week. Excellent value for rate charged. Room was top class with all usual features inc. kettle, iron, fridge etc. Breakfast served till 11am with a plentiful array of hot + cold foods. Evening meals OK and quite reasonable. Did not get a chance to use the Leisure Centre, but it looks very impressive. Music in bar just alright, but backing tracks are a bit monotonous. First time using Lidl Breaks, but if there are all this good, won't be my last. John
Nice hotel. The breakfast in the morning was EXCELLENT. All serve yourself and no real waiting around for tea or coffee. The only drawback I saw was having to walk past the 'smoking ' rooms on the way to the non smoking rooms. They really should make the whole hotel non smoking and be done with it. Otherwise WELL WELL WORTH IT.

Had a very enjoyable short break here. Clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff, intend to go back there shortly. Thank you Lidl for having this affordable offer, which are also available in a large number of hotels across the country. Many of which I know to be first class.
GOOD HOTEL AND IN VERY NICE SECENERLY. BREAKFAST WAS LOVELY AND SO WAS THE POOL AND FACILITYIES IN THE HOTELS. ROOMS WERE OK. NOT MUCH TO DO IN CLONAKILTY ITSELF BUT WE WENT ON A WEEK BREAK SO MAYBE MORE CRAIC IN THE PUBS ON THE WEEKEND. LOVELY CHINESE IN THE TOWN CANT REMEMBER ITS NAME BUT WE TRAVELED AROUND TO COBH, BRANDON, KINSALE, GALLARY HEAD AND TO PHOTO WILD LIFE PARK. SO WE ENJOY OUR STAY. FAIR PLAY TO LIDI ON GOOD VALVE BREAKS.
Staff very helpful hotel clean and well kept. Breakfast was amazing. rooms comfortable. A great deal with lidl breaks will definatly be using this site again very affordable.
The staff here are very friendly and welcoming; breakfast offers many choices with real coffee; the swimming-pool is long enough for swimming lengths; the bar food is good value with the salmon tasting as though it has just come from the sea!
We stayed 3 nights and loved it. We booked a family room which was very spacious, clean & had a fridge, perfect for kids bottles. The facilities for children are the best I've ever seen - kids pool, outdoor play area and huge indoor play area which kept adults & kids entertained during the rainy spells!! Great breakfast too. An absolutely fantastic offer from Lidl.

I found this hotel excellent, for families with children I would highly recommend it as the kids can be kept entertained for hours. The breakfast was great, typical hotel buffet with loads on offer. The only down side I had was I did find the bedroom a little on the dusty side!!!
Lovely hotel, great value breakfast and dinner. Little bit away from centre. Beds could do with summer covers - most Irish hotels seem to provide heavy quilts all year round. Fine big rooms. I'd give it 4 stars. ps fine pool and play areas for children.
We had a very enjoyable stay. The hotel was within walking distance of the town. The room was basic but clean and met our needs. The staff were friendly and accomodating. The meal was good. Over all it was exceptional value for money and will be availing of these deals in the future.

We enjoyed our stay in Clonakilty. The staff at the hotel were friendly and welcoming, lovely room and the food was terrific. All in all, great value!
I recently spent two night with my wife and two daughters in a family room that was very comfortable and clean. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner was okay but not great however breakfast was really good. The entertainer on the nights we were there was very good and we had a good laugh with him. The amenities for the children were excellent and they really enjoyed their weekend in the hotel. Location is also excellent as it is in walking distance of Clonakilty with its goods bars and restaurants and also close to some great beaches. I would have no hesitation in booking this hotel again.
We stayed in the Quaility Hotel Clonakilty on a two night break and found it to be most comfortable and spacious. The staff where very friendly and helpful The food was lovely.. It was within walking distance of the town and driving distance of the beautiful countryside of West Cork. We would definitley book again. H. Clinton
we spent two nights here with our three kids aged 3,2, and 7 months. i would greatly recommend to a family. it's very child friendly with plenty to do for all ages. we really enjoyed our stay and will definately be going back.
The Hotel is in real need of refurbishment. The staff were very friendly and good. The breakfast was lovely but the dinner was horrible. It would be a perfect destination for a family but other than that there was little much for couples. We enjoyed the surrounding amenities and Inchydonny but found this hotel to be dead.
